Dr Hamish Nichol

Hamish is experienced in the technical & commercial leadership of projects in the hydrogen sector, from green hydrogen production plant delivery, transport deployments, though to technology development & commercialisation. He’s focused on developing strong partnerships with public & private clients to help understand the place for & where appropriate implement hydrogen as part of their decarbonisation roadmaps.

Prior to Ricardo Hamish was co-founder of a business developing technology to crack ammonia into hydrogen, enabling it as a fuel for GTs & ICEs. He's led projects in hydrogen aviation, hydrogen for heat, liquid hydrogen test facilities, and Europe's largest hydrogen fuel cell bus deployment. Hamish has a PhD in experimental cryogenic physics.
