Chemical Compliance Monitor

01 Aug 2024

Chemical regulations are constantly evolving and diversification between national and regional regulations can be a major issue for companies wishing to supply to EU, UK, North America, Asia or other markets across the globe. Therefore maintaining regulatory compliance requires regular inventory reviews combined with up-to-date regulatory knowledge, which can be both time-consuming and complex.

Chemical Compliance Monitor supports organisations with their regulatory burden and reduces the time, expense and resource required to understand the complex requirements and changes for the supply and use of chemical substances.

A comprehensive inventory check ascertains the status of substances in your product portfolio and whether they appear on any of the selected regulatory lists, compiling this information into a clear, easy-to-read report.

The report explains any associated obligations where substances need to be registered, notified, restricted or substituted, enabling organisational compliance to be maintained, and ensuring any chemical substitutions or changes in chemical management are identified as quickly as possible, providing confidence when making strategic decisions.

Features

Users are provided coverage of 27 EU and GB regulatory lists under REACH and CLP, including those currently in force and those indicating forthcoming changes. The report also includes lists associated with identifying substances with specific hazards such as endocrine disruptors (ED) and Persistent Bio-accumulative and Toxic (PBT) substances, biocides (BPR Article 95), nano materials and Persistent Organic Pollutants (POP).

The service can be tailored to your needs and can include coverage of North America and/or Asia on request. Additional flexibility is available if specific lists are of interest to you and your organisation.
All our packages include GB regulatory lists as standard to help you monitor divergence between the EU and GB in the future.

Your bi-annual reports provide:

  • guidance on key pieces of legislation.
  • the number of substances from your portfolio mentioned in each list.
  • the status of the substance in key regions.
  • an outline of your obligations related to substances on specific lists.
  • changes since your last report.
