Ricardo plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Martin Fausset as managing director of the Ricardo UK division – taking over this position from interim MD Bill Jessup.
With over 15 years experience at Divisional Board level in large UK Companies, Martin Fausset has an exemplary career profile. He has held full profit and loss responsibility for a subsidiary of a major UK plc, has extensive UK and international experience with governments and major defence companies, and has a successful track record of delivering change programmes and managing major projects to time and budget.
Most recently, Martin Fausset was managing director for the Defence Aerospace business of Rolls-Royce plc where he led and directed new product and market strategy, grew turnover substantially and increased the order book over a three year period whilst improving customer focus and satisfaction. He was a non-executive director and Rolls-Royce shareholder representative on a variety of joint venture company boards, including three in the UK, two in Germany and one in Spain. In addition, he has had detailed involvement in the launch of new companies in the UK and India. Prior to this, Martin Fausset was director of programmes for AGUSTAWESTLAND with specific responsibilities including for profit and loss of the Lynx, EH101 and Apache helicopter programmes with customers in the UK, Europe, North America and the Middle & Far East. Previously, Martin was Apache project director and held a number of senior supply chain management positions.
Martin Fausset holds several professional affiliations, is a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society, a Member of Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply and is the current chairman for Business in the Community in the South West.
