Ricardo has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Harbin Engineering University, one of China’s leading higher education and research institutions.
Founded in 1953, Harbin Engineering University (HEU) – formerly known as Harbin Shipbuilding Engineering Institute – is situated in north-east China. It is designated a ‘national key university’ and is one of the ‘211 Project’ Universities, which enjoy priority in future development. The MoU will see Ricardo work with HEU’s College of Power and Energy Engineering to pursue fundamental research, technology innovation and applications, research capability construction, and international collaborative research projects.
“Harbin Engineering University is a leading institute in research and development in China, and Ricardo looks forward to working with the University’s leadership and technical teams under the terms of this MoU,” commented Ricardo UK managing director Martin Fausset. “In doing so we will explore the potential opportunities for technical and commercial where we can provide engineering or consultancy support.”
