I am motivated by the fact that my work supports Ricardo Defense's critical Antilock Brake System/Electronic Stability Control (ABS/ESC) programme which protects the lives of thousands of HMMWV operators around the world."

Jo Rowe, Manufacturing Operations Manager, Ricardo Performance Products leads a diverse team of over 50 people to produce up to 120 supercar engines per week for McLaren. She said: "I’m passionate about my work. Enabling an environment and culture where a team can truly be themselves as individuals, but as a team also achieve operational excellence is a key career goal.”

Elspeth Case started with the Ricardo Motorcycle team as Electrical Electronic Engineer, but is now a Technical Project Manager which still involves engineering work. Here, she is plugging in a data logger prior to taking the bike out for a range test. The Energica Ego+ RS is one of the fully electric bikes on site.

Malwina is an engine assembly technician. Each day she and her team assemble eight engines for McLaren hypercars. She said: “I enjoy working at Ricardo for the atmosphere and great team.”

After a career break to raise her family and gain her MBA she joined Ricardo Performance Products as a Quality Technician before being promoted to Quality Engineer Arfah said: “I hope the younger female generations will be inspired to study in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) and pursue their career in engineering."
