Ricardo's Dr Justin Seabrook presents a paper exploring a virtual calibration process to improve the design of a low emissions gasoline engine. He will touch on how the Ricardo IMBD process was applied to the virtual calibration of a gasoline engine at an early stage of the engine development v-cycle and how simulation of engine and tailpipe emissions predictions can be used to support design decisions and engine and vehicle calibration tasks.
