Glen Thistlethwaite

Glen is the technical lead for the UK National Atmospheric Emissions Inventory with over 20 years’ experience in inventory system and model quality assurance, management and improvement, implementing international guidance (IPCC, EMEP-EEA) for inventory models, at the national, sub-national to city level. Glen’s core expertise is GHG and air quality pollutant emissions from energy (combustion, fugitive) and industrial process sources. He is a UNFCCC lead reviewer, IPCC author and has extensive knowledge of inventory data, methods and systems, skilled at leading expert teams to identify and address key underlying issues (e.g. data access, method selection, uncertainty analysis).
