What's your role at Ricardo? 

My role is both strategic and tactical. It's all about increasing staff retention and speeding up progression by reviewing and developing learning solutions. 

What does your average day look like at Ricardo? 

In an average day I'll have a few meetings with working groups to look at the best way of doing things or the senior leadership team to decide what we are trying to achieve. In between I'll be reviewing data and designing learning materials and communications. 

What do you find most rewarding at work? / Are you proud to work at Ricardo? 

I find there's a great deal of autonomy and personal accountability. Everyone takes personal responsibility for making a difference. It's rewarding being able to see how individual effort has an impact. 

What's was you or your teams greatest achievement and how was it celebrated? 

We've recently set up career development paths for Consultants to make it easier to navigate progression and writing a personal development plan. For Team Leaders there's now a programme of forums running regularly throughout the year to aid their continuous development by offering opportunities to discuss scenarios based on different subjects and share their experience.
