Nic Bowler

Nic has a wide range of experience delivering ergonomics and human factors, safety management, and safety culture consultancy and training projects for a variety of clients.  These have been delivered to government bodies, railway operators, and project contractors across various industries, including rail, aviation, highways, energy, and building design.    

Nic also undertakes a lot of work to support clients to understand what human factors can offer and how to integrate human factors into their operations and projects.  Nic started his career at the RSSB, conducting research into new train safety and control systems.  He has held many railway HF-related roles and is proud to have worked for His Majesty's Railway Inspectorate (HMRI) within the Office of Rail and Road as a Specialist HF Inspector on some high-profile cases such as the tragic Carmont / Stonehaven Disaster.
