Sam Hinton

Sam leads Ricardo’s dedicated LCA team, providing clients with robust assessments of their products and processes. Sam helps clients understand and meet the requirements of standards such as ISO14040, ISO14044 and ISO14067 as well as providing support in the creation of Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) and in ensuring alignment with the European Commission’s Product Environmental Footprint (PEF) initiative.

Sam and his team utilise LCA to evaluate a wide suite of environmental indicators enabling organisations to gain a more holistic view of their products’ impacts. This helps clients implement reduction strategies, avoid burden shifting and achieve true sustainability.
