Biography
Sujith Kollamthodi is the Director of Ricardo’s Policy, Strategy & Economics Practice. He leads our team of more than 100 policy experts who provide strategic advice, insights and economic analysis to governments, development agencies, international financial institutions, industry associations and corporate clients all over the world on policy issues relating to climate change, energy, transport, air quality and chemicals amongst other topics.

Sujith Kollamthodi is the Director of Ricardo’s Policy, Strategy & Economics Practice. He leads our team of more than 100 policy experts who provide strategic advice, insights and economic analysis to governments, development agencies, international financial institutions, industry associations and corporate clients all over the world on policy issues relating to climate change, energy, transport, air quality and chemicals amongst other topics. Sujith has more than 20 years’ experience on the environmental issues facing the transport sector and on the evolving interactions between the transport and energy sectors in the climate transition. Sujith has led and directed strategic studies for the European Commission, national governments and corporate clients on decarbonising all modes of transport, on low carbon technologies and fuels (e.g. electric vehicles, bioenergy, hydrogen, etc) on air pollution, and on addressing the life-cycle environmental impacts of transport modes and the supporting transport infrastructure. Sujith has co-written more than 50 published reports and has a degree in Chemistry from the University of Sheffield in the UK as well as an MSc in Automotive Engineering from the University of Leeds (UK).
