Biography
Susie is an experienced economist, bringing strong capabilities in infrastructure advisory via business case development, economic appraisal, policy and strategy development. Susie excels in the leadership of people and projects and is passionate about applying an economic lens to address complex problems in the built environment. She has delivered projects for all levels of government across Australia, as well as internationally in New Zealand, the UK and in Asia.
Susie has a breadth of consulting experience in sectors including transport, water, waste, energy, social and green infrastructure and arts and culture. This has fostered her ability to be highly adaptive in response to complex, nuanced, and evolving environments which are often characterised by uncertainty. Susie strives to communicate issues in economic theory clearly to effectively engage with clients across diverse sectors. She also has experience being embedded within client organisations as part of project delivery, to establish and implement evaluation frameworks and to deliver improvement initiatives. Susie has strong verbal and written communication skills which make her highly effective within multidisciplinary teams. She is committed to fostering collaboration in pursuit of more integrated, holistic, and positive outcomes for clients.
