We are a leading energy management manufacturing company dedicated to excellence in Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) practices. At the heart of our global organization, QHSE plays a crucial role in ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements while driving continuous improvement initiatives. We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced QHSE Advisor to join our team on a part time contract and contribute to our mission of excellence. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert guidance on QMS and HSE matters to management and staff within our A&I division at US locations, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Take charge of monitoring, reporting, and investigating incidents and hazardous occurrences using our Safety Reporting System, facilitating timely interventions and preventative measures.
  • Deliver comprehensive monthly reports on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to quality, health, safety, and environmental performance, enabling informed decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all relevant legislation by establishing and updating policies, procedures, and guidance materials as needed, always safeguarding regulatory compliance.
  • Offer specialized QMS and HSE support for client bids and ongoing projects, ensuring compliance and excellence in delivery while fostering strong client relationships.
  • Conduct thorough internal audits to maintain and enhance the effectiveness of our management systems, executing inspections, local audits, risk assessments, and process reviews to identify areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate and actively participate in site emergency exercises, contributing to robust Business Continuity Planning procedures and fostering a culture of preparedness and resilience.
  • Facilitate local and North America joint QMS and HSE meetings, fostering collaboration and alignment across teams and regions to drive collective success in QMS and HSE initiatives.
  • Lead initiatives to monitor, report, and minimize A&I's environmental impact, driving sustainability efforts and promoting responsible environmental practices throughout our operations.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to drive continual improvement across all facets of QMS and HSE and management systems, ensuring that our company remains at the forefront of industry standards and practices.
  • Ensure accessibility to relevant and effective training programs to uphold QMS and HSE standards and best practices, empowering employees to excel in their roles and contribute to our culture of safety and excellence.

Essential Skills and Behaviors:

  • Currently working to or with OSHA qualification, environmental knowledge, and QMS knowledge.
  • Positive attitude and belief in the benefits of a good QMS Advisor.
  • Report with honesty and integrity.
  • Proficiency in ISO 14001:2015, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, and energy management.
  • Familiarity with OSHA/CCOHS including specific state requirements.
