We are currently looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our office in Utretcht, Netherlands. This role will liaise closely with the transactional team and take direction from the Senior Finance Business Partner responsible for the financial operations of the region.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the accuracy and reporting of the project performance metrics (revenue & margin) for the Region and Business Management. This includes the provision of key project based reporting, contract management and data reconciliations for revenue recognition / Project Status Report (PSR).
Key Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for the accuracy of the management accounting suite of reports for the cluster(s).
- Provide business partner support to the cluster through targeted reporting, support for utilisation management, project structure (tax etc.) and Bid Pack assistance.
- Manage the results analysis process in line with the monthly timetable the agreed cluster review actions and risks & opportunities.
- Manage the forecast and budget processes including insights into the orderbook and pipeline phasing, utilisation trends and variance analysis.
- Provide FP&A services through the delivery of cluster reporting, project support, variance analysis.
- Oversee the periodic review and accuracy of project forecasts, including the sign off the revenue, EAC and margin relating to the monthly result.
- Coordinate the Project Review process, including maintenance of PSR information such as finish dates, project managers and review notes.
- Manage the completion of the internal governance requirements including monthly ACC and ICQ.
- Responsible for the provision of the External Order Intake (EOI) data and its reconciliation to MSD.
- Provide specialist financial and commercial assistance to the BD and Ops community in the preparation of bid pack estimates.
- Oversee the review process for CAT 4 projects including the monthly forecast update and completion of the half yearly reporting template.
- Undertake adhoc project and variance analysis work as required and provide leave / overload support.
