IT Support Technician

Deliver high-quality IT services that meet or exceed the expectations of our clients and stakeholders, focusing on the provision, support and compliance of endpoint hardware, operating systems, and software.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain high IT service standards by fulfilling service requests, resolving incidents, and updating the IT Service Management system.
- Provide support for Office IT (printers, meeting rooms, desk IT), Manufacturing IT, and hardware lifecycle management, including asset inventory.
- Install, troubleshoot, and uninstall software, assist with network cabling, and act as on-site support in server rooms.
- Ensure effective communication and timely service delivery, focusing on continuous improvement and user impact reduction.
- Contribute to IT projects, manage changes, and enhance skills in technical and project delivery.
- Apply security best practices, support security incident resolution, and address vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with external support as needed, while sharing knowledge across IT teams and updating the IT knowledge base.
Key Competencies and Experience
- Strong track record in delivering IT services and support to end users.
- Solid foundational knowledge across networking, user identity management, hardware, operating systems, software, cloud platforms, telecoms, licensing, and troubleshooting.
- Basic understanding of Information Security principles and practices.
Desirable Competencies and Experience
- Proficient in IT service management frameworks and tools, including ITIL.
- Knowledgeable in M365 tenant administration, including Entra and Intune.
- Experienced in engineering, environmental, or strategic consultancy sectors.
- Holds a qualification in an IT discipline.
- Strong team collaboration skills.
