The Role
From Ricardo Certification Iberia, subsidiary of Ricardo plc group, we are looking for an immediate incorporation of an assessor for Infrastructure, Energy or Control-Command and Signalling subsystem for:
- Interoperability verification (NoBo) against the applicable TSIs and national regulations (DeBo).
- Independent safety assessment (AsBo / ISA) using regulation 402/2013 and / or CENELEC standards (EN 50126, EN 50128, EN 50129) on high speed and conventional network projects.
- Participate in commercial support tasks such as bid preparation and project management tasks.
- A higher or medium technical degree with experience in the field of railway infrastructure, energy or signalling (interlocking, on-board and on-track ERTMS, national signalling systems, etc.) is required.
- Position based in Madrid, but will participate in projects both nationally and at European and international level (Canada, Middle East, Australia...) so a level of spoken and written English B2-C1 is required.
- Availability for occasional national and international travel.
Skills required
- Demonstrated technical leadership in any of the required subsystems.
- Effective problem solving and creative thinking skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, combined with good influencing skills.
- Flexibility, resilience and enthusiasm.
- Great ability to work as part of a team.
- Fluent in Spanish (native or advanced level) and English (advanced level).
