Coastal adaptation - role of economics, communication and stakeholder engagement
31 Mar 2021
Economic analysis is an important component of coastal management decision-making. To effectively influence decisions, stakeholders must understand and support economic analysis. Building this confidence requires clear and consistent communication of economic concepts, analysis and findings throughout the assessment process.
We have extensive experience in economic analysis of options for coastal adaptation. During this webinar we will share our insights into how to undertake a successful coastal adaptation assessment that provides confidence to decision makers. We also discussed some common themes that have emerged from our work, including insights into which adaptation options deliver the greatest benefits to the community.
