M-Sport home after win in Bathurst

Ricardo welcomes Team M-Sport Home from Australia following their first win in the Intercontinental GT Challenge (IGTC) with the Bentley Continental GT3.

The Bathurst 12 hour was won in car #7 with Jules Gounon, Maxime Soulet and Jordon Pepper behind the wheel.

Despite a characteristically eventful race on the formidable winding Mount Panorama Circuit, including an unscheduled pitstop following a high-speed tyre blowout within the final hour, #7 finished a comfortable 41.4 seconds ahead of the second place McLaren 720S GT3.

In addition to this decisive win, the trio also set a new distance record of 314 laps (1950.8km) for the Australian race.

“On behalf of Ricardo, I would like to congratulate our customer, M-Sport, on their well-earned victory and look forward to continuing our relationship in the supply of high-performance transmissions,” commented Ricardo Performance Products MD Martin Starkey.
