Ricardo achieves certification to key international information security standard

It has been confirmed today that Ricardo has received certification under ISO 27001, the international standard governing the management of information security risks.

The achievement of ISO 27001 represents a significant milestone, demonstrating Ricardo’s commitment to maintaining and improving information security to manage risk both within the organization as well as for the company’s clients, staff and other stakeholders. It also augments Ricardo’s existing certifications relating to quality and environmental management systems, and occupational health and safety, respectively under ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001.

“Information and quality are at the very heart of Ricardo’s business and define the manner in which we serve our global client base,” explains group IT director Simon Campbell. “Ricardo has always taken information security extremely seriously and it remains one of our highest priorities. We chose to certify against ISO27001 so that we could objectively demonstrate our competence and commitment to information security, along with driving continuous improvement in managing information risk.”
