Ricardo Showcases Air Quality Expertise at the UK Ambassador’s Residence in the UAE

The UK Embassy invited Akin Adamson (Middle East Director, Ricardo) and Oriol Teixido (Air Quality Middle East Lead, Ricardo) to attend and bring a piece of innovative equipment to showcase our work. In response we transported a PM cascade impactor —an excellent example of Ricardo’s commitment to advancing environmental monitoring and scientific excellence.

This achievement would not have been possible without the invaluable support of Louisa Kramer, the Cyprus Institute, and Envirozone, who ensured the equipment arrived on time. Their collaboration highlights the agility and dedication that underpin our work. Our sincere thanks to the UK Embassy team for organising such an excellent networking event.

The event also provided an opportunity to engage in insightful discussions with key stakeholders, including representatives from ADNOC, Shell, HSBC, Khalifa University, and the University of Birmingham. These conversations reinforced the critical role of air quality science in shaping policy, driving sustainable innovation, and fostering strategic partnerships.
