We extend our warm congratulations to South East Water, University of Melbourne, and Water Sensitive Cities Australia for their outstanding project, “Demonstrating the Cooling Benefits of Irrigating Green Space and Misting at Aquarevo House and Burnley.” This innovative project showcases the benefits of smart irrigation, optimizing soil moisture to deliver cooling effects of up to 1°C in urban environments. This vital work demonstrates the potential for smarter, climate-responsive urban green spaces.
