Ricardo employees named in 2024’s The Manufacturer Top 100 list

Two employees of Ricardo, a global strategic, environmental, engineering, and manufacturing consulting company, have been named in 2024’s The Manufacturer Top 100 list.

Steve Blevins, Head of Engineering, and Kynan Serné, Manufacturing Apprentice, have been named on the prestigious list which publicly celebrates the heroes of UK manufacturing. Both represent Ricardo’s Performance Products business unit which specialises in niche volume manufacturing and industrialisation consultancy.

Now in its 11th year, The Manufacturer Top 100 scours the length and breadth of the nation to find the 100 most dynamic leaders and innovators in manufacturing, nominated by The Manufacturer’s audience, the industrial community and judged by a panel of industry leaders, academics, and manufacturing associations.

Steve and Kynan were recognised at the award ceremony at Smart Manufacturing and Engineering Week at the NEC Birmingham on Wednesday 5th June.

Steve was named in both the Inspiring Leader and the Innovator categories, recognising his outstanding technical contribution to the world of motorsport and performance automotive engineering and his exemplary commitment to supporting the business at every level beyond his remit of Head of Engineering.

Kynan was named in the Young Pioneer category, recognising his technical contribution to the processes on the McLaren production line, located at Ricardo’s Shoreham Technical Centre. As well as his dedication to inspiring the next generation of engineering and manufacturing professionals by advocating for apprenticeships and the impact that they can make to the lives of young people.
